Living: London, UKI've always been creative and curious. I started my diverse journey in 2015 as a Research intern in Child Rights and You (CRY) where I created posters and videos and soon became their go-to ‘design person’. I didn't think much about it at that time and went on to work in a tea auction house where I made my way up to a managerial position quite quickly, doing everything from tea tasting, to recruiting, to marketing.
What I enjoyed the most though was, organising information with different colour coding, constantly looking for ways to make things easier and more visually appealing. I learnt Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop and made handmade, handpainted products on the weekends and eventually launched my design brand Mbony India in 2017. The overwhelming response and the joy of creating pushed me to take up design as a full time career.
I started working as an art director, then went on to design UI projects and finally found UX to be the sweet spot that had the possibility to blend my passions for design, technology, and business, with my deep curiosity for human behavior. Currently, I work as a Senior UX Designer, run a small Etsy store and mentor people on ADPList.
APPROACH
With diverse experience across industries, I bring multiple perspectives to my design process. I have a user-first mindset, ensuring every design decision is driven by user needs and insights. I approach each project strategically, blending research, design, and business goals to deliver meaningful solutions. Having worked in cross functional teams, I organise and communicate my design process clearly through wireframes, prototypes, high-fidelity mockups, and user flows, ensuring alignment with stakeholders and teams at every stage. Iterations are key, and testing with real users is essential to refine and validate designs I create.

I consider myself to be an empathetic extrovert and I thrive on collaboration because that’s where the magic happens. As a person of colour who has lived abroad, I’m passionate about making inclusivity a core principle of the design process. I enjoy exploring diverse mediums, and my user-centered approach has led me from tangible interactions to designing immersive, experiential environments.
When I’m not working, I can be found talking to my plants, experimenting with new recipes, doodling away in my bullet journal or teaching my dog or son a new trick!
